Hesketh Bank and Tarleton Helpers
About Hesketh Bank and Tarleton Helpers
We are a small charity operating in and around the villages of Tarleton, Hesketh Bank and North Meols in West Lancashire. We have a number of different projects all aiming to improve life for local people. Our befriending project supports older people suffering from loneliness and/or social isolation. Following an assessment by the Volunteer Co-ordinator, clients accepted onto the scheme will be matched with a local befriender for regular face to face meetings either in the client’s home or local venue. Where appropriate, befrienders may accompany clients to coffee mornings and similar social gatherings.
