Aberlour
About Aberlour
Aberlour supports children, young people and families to give them the best chance to flourish, and we’ve been doing it for over 140 years. We work with children and families, listening to them, to make sure they get the help they need and want, so we don’t take a’one size fits all’ approach. We are progressive in our approach to work and we encourage and support our staff to be innovative and proactive in improving what we do to get better outcomes for children. We’re really proud of our work, our staff and volunteers across Scotland and we live by the values that drive our passion to ensure every child has the chance to flourish. Our values of respect, integrity, innovative and challenging reflect what we are, how we do things and where we want to be.

Information for Volunteers
When you volunteer your time to support one of our children’s services, you will be helping make a vital difference to Scotland’s most vulnerable children and young people in the most direct way possible. We have services across Scotland from the Highlands to the Borders. Our support runs the length and breadth of Scotland because not all children are born with an equal chance. We are there for Scotland’s hidden children, when others let them down. Because every child deserves the chance to flourish. You’ll share the ups and downs of the children and young people you are supporting and support them in good and tough times. And you’ll see the impact of your support as they reach out and flourish in the world.
