We provide 1:1 Peer Befriending support for parents whose children have Batten Disease. We also provide regular group support in the form of an online Mum’s Chat and a Dad’s Chat, led by our trained Peer Befrienders.

To be supported by one of our BDFA Peer Befrienders you will need to be registered with the BDFA, by speaking to our Family Support team.

 

Information for Volunteers

We train up our Peer Befrienders from within our BDFA Batten community and supervise and support them as they befriend fellow parents.
