About Bold Actions
Bold Actions is a UK based not for profit organisation that aims to improve the lives of individuals who are facing social isolation and loneliness. Our Befriending service is a key component of this mission, connecting with people who could benefit from a friendly and regular conversation.
We carefully match volunteers and service users who share similar interests or backgrounds. Volunteers provide regular companionship, whether through visits or phone calls. Volunteers engage in a variety of activities together, such as going for walks, sharing hobbies or simply having a chat.
Our Befriending Service helps to alleviate feelings of isolation and loneliness. Regular social interaction also has a positive impact on mental well-being. By providing companionship and support, our Befriending services enriches the lives of services users and volunteers alike.
