Connect BefriendingAbout Midlothian Community Action
Midlothian Community Action is the lead agency for volunteer development in Midlothian. We encourage and inspire local people to volunteer & ensure that organisations have access to the best possible expertise & guidance on volunteering. As part of this, we run the Connect Befriending Project aimed at reducing social isolation in older people and helping them to feel a part of their wider community.
Connect Befriending Project will recruit and train volunteers to provide the support that many older people need to become less socially isolated, enabling them to participate in activities of their choice at home or out in the community.
