Cross Keys Homes
About Cross Keys Homes
Our Befriending Service provides compassionate support and companionship to individuals who may be isolated, dealing with mental health challenges, or struggling with low confidence. We match trained volunteers, some of whom have lived experience with these issues, to offer one to one support. Our Befrienders can assist in a variety of ways: Accompanying clients to important appointments, such as doctors visits; Introducing clients to new community groups and activities to help build connections; Provide a listening ear during difficult times; Encouraging clients to try new things.
All of our befrienders undergo comprehensive training to ensure they can offer empathetic, non clinical assistance. The goal is to foster meaningful human connections that empower clients, reduce feelings of isolation, and promote overall wellbeing.
