About Health in Mind

Peer Connecting offers individual and group support for people over 18 who are looking to improve or manage their mental health and wellbeing.Our peer support brings together people with shared experiences of a particular mental health and wellbeing difficulties, isolation and loneliness, barriers in connecting with others and community, or similar personal interests and cultural background.We provide a space where people feel accepted, understood and supported and where everyone’s experiences are being treated as equally important.You can self-refer or be referred by someone else. Once we hear from you, we will contact you to let you know more about the service and to make sure it’s the right service for you.To find out more make an enquiry at https: health-in-mind.org.uk You’ll hear back within 10 working days. Could you be a Peer Volunteer? We work with peer volunteers in East Lothian, Edinburgh, Midlothian, The Scottish Borders and West Lothian. If you have lived experience of mental health difficulties and are interested in becoming a peer volunteer find out more about volunteering with Health in Mind.
