Healthy and Active in East Kilbride
About Healthy and Active in East Kilbride
Our Home Support services help people to remain independent at home by offering a ‘Keep in Touch’ service via telephone befriending
‘Keep in touch’ calls happen regularly and are often a quick chat to make sure everything is okay. However, there’s also more intense support when needed, for example support to connect with local activities because of a loss of confidence, bereavement or recovering from illness. Support is also given to people who are experiencing loneliness and isolation and mental health problems.
The team that delivers our Home Support services have vast experience and provide a vital support to local people.
