Hope Community Project

  • Recruiting Volunteers

About Hope Community Project

We provide two telephone befriending services, which consist of a regular telephone call from one of our volunteers.
One of them is for people who are new to the area, such as refugees, asylum seekers and non-English speakers, to help them settle into the area and integrate with the local community.  It is also intended to help with feelings of isolation.
The other service is for older adults (aged 55 and over), to help combat feelings of isolation and loneliness, and to help them improve their physical and mental wellbeing.
