About Kent Coast Volunteering
The Kent Coast Volunteering Good Neighbours Service is a befriending service for older people (over 60) living in the Thanet, Dover and Folkestone & Hythe districts. We provide volunteers of all ages to make regular visits to the same client, usually on a weekly basis. This visit can simply be a chat and a cup of tea, a walk to the local cafe, the volunteer can drive them to a supermarket and help them round for their shopping needs, and much more.
