Information for Volunteers
We’re looking for friendly and caring people to join our team as Volunteer Befrienders. You’ll offer support to members of the Knutsford community who are feeling isolated or lonely and struggle to get out of their home
All you need is a warm, friendly personality and a little spare time. No experience is needed – we provide full training and ongoing support to help you feel confident in the role. You’ll meet with one or two clients regularly, roughly once a fortnight for an hour or two at the client’s home, or you might take them out – perhaps to a garden centre or for a coffee. It’s all about offering companionship, sharing time together, and helping someone feel more connected.
If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you! Contact our Befriending Service Lead, Alison Chew, on 07473 787 599 or email befriending@knutsfordtogether.org.uk
