Lead Scotland is a national charity supporting disabled people and carers by providing personalised learning, befriending, advice and information services.
Lead Scotland’s Fife Befriending Project is for young people aged 12 to 18 who have caring role at home in Fife to experience the same opportunities as their peers. Our fantastic Lead Scotland Volunteer Befriender’s can help provide support to young people that can improve their confidence and connection with their community.
Our Befriending Service is 1-1, community based, 1-3 hours per week/up to 6 months, so that young carers have the right social support to build and sustain stronger community connections and also access learning opportunities. We support young carers to build a bridge to reach their ambitions of personal development, learning, volunteering and work.
