Older Person's Service - FifeAbout LinkLiving
LinkLiving is a trauma-informed Scottish health and wellbeing charity that supports people of all ages to overcome the negative impacts of trauma, mental health, inequality, and isolation. The Older Person’s Service – Volunteer Befriender Programme provides volunteers who visit older people in their home, enabling them to connect to there community, help them improve their quality of life, reduce their social isolation and make them smile! ……….. this can often delay or avoid the need for more intensive support. We recognises that a lot of older people need help to get out of the house, someone to talk to, or help with small jobs around the house. Our Volunteer Befrienders offer support to help reduce social isolation, expand social networks, and increase resilience.
