About MyVision Oxfordshire

MyVision Oxfordshire’s befriending service is accessed by phone or in person via home visit, for people with sight loss experiencing isolation and loneliness across Oxfordshire.  Phone calls or home visits are weekly or fortnightly and Volunteer Befrienders bring companionship and support to enable people to live as independently as possible.  The service is provided on a long term basis for as long as a client may need.  Home visiting volunteers may provide support with reading post, a hobby, going for a short walk, or have a chat over a cuppa.  Volunteers do not provide personal care, carry out household chores or do shopping.
