About North Halifax Partnership

Staying Well was created in 2014 to establish interventions for a range of socially isolated people in Calderdale.  Using a wide range of community activities, groups and organisations Staying Well has reduced isolation for many residents.  The telephone befriending scheme was established during the Covid-19 Crisis and has since become a popular and priceless service that provides weekly telephone befriending by trained volunteers in Calderdale.

Service Eligibility

We accept anyone aged 18 or over, and lives in Calderdale.  You are welcome to refer in a manner that be suits you, electronically via our website www.stayingwellhub.com, by email; stayingwellproject@nhpltd.org.uk or call us on 01422 392 767

Information for Volunteers

Staying Well provides support and training to anyone who wishes to become a telephone befriender.  Ongoing volunteer development and support is available.
