Our Befriending Service connects you with warm, friendly volunteers who are here to listen to you and build real, meaningful and trusting relationships. Whether it’s over a cup of tea, a walk in the park, help finding your way around, or just someone to talk to who understands your journey, we’re here for you.

Are you a good listener? Do you believe in the power of human connection? Do you want to make a real difference in someone’s life? If yes, we’d love to welcome you as a Befriending Volunteer at Project Esperanza!
You’ll be matched with someone who could benefit from a listening ear, someone to talk to, or simply a friend to walk alongside them as they settle and rebuild their life.
