About Scottish Cot Death Trust
Scottish Cot Death Trust was founded in 1985 and is the only charity in Scotland dedicated to the issue of the sudden unexpected death of babies and young children. We are a Scottish charity with a small team of dedicated staff and volunteers providing support for bereaved families. We aim to provide holistic bereavement support for all family members, where and when they need it.Peer support includes our befriending service and online peer support groups. We can put bereaved adult family members in contact with either one dedicated befriender another mum, dad, grandmother or grandfather who has also experienced the death of a baby or child or people may join our online community.
