About this event

This Volunteers’ Week (June 2nd to 8th), we’re delighted to offer events to support befrienders directly. Being a Befriender is a free event for those who volunteer with befriending projects.

This celebration and networking event is open to any befriender, within any project, who is delivering befriending through any distance method. This can include, but is not limited to:

• Telephone Befriending
• Letter or Email Befriending
• Chat or Message Befriending
• Video Call Befriending

This event is bringing together befrienders to meet others in similar roles, to network and access peer support, while learning and recognising the work and positive impact of befriending.
