Purpose of this event

During this busy Month of Community we invite you to join us online and share lunch with our Befriending Networks community.  A time to hear what you have been doing to celebrate. Take a break from all the busyness and encourage one another in the great work you are doing. We will be joined by one of our members, Kingston Carers Network as we celebrate Carers Week.

Open to members and non members.

Kingston Carers’ Network

Kingston Carers’ Network provides independent information, advice, advocacy and support to people who care for someone living in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. Their Young Carers Project runs a mentoring programme for young carers aged 10 – 18 years old in the London borough of Kingston-upon-Thames. Find out more about them in our directory.

What are networking events?

Befriending Networks offers free networking events to provide a safe and friendly space for those working within community projects to come together, network, share and compare experiences, and learn from one another. If you have anything you’d like to discuss, please let us know in advance of the session. 

Participation Guidance

These events are hosted on Zoom and are free and welcome to all – members and non-members of Befriending Networks. We ask all our attendees to come online prepared to discuss with others, listen and learn. If you have a particular question or topic you would like the group to discuss, please contact the event facilitator in advance to add it to our agenda.
