Purpose of this event

We know that many of our projects run successful group and activity befriending projects.  Come along and share with others to find out more ideas how to develop your current group befriending.  Or maybe you are considering doing group befriending alongside your 1:1 befriending.

Didsbury Good Neighbours are a charity whose aim is to support senior members of the Didsbury community through a volunteer befriending service and a programme of weekly activities. Befriending is the core of their work, building friendships with people who are most at risk of loneliness. Find out more about them in our directory.

What are networking events?

Befriending Networks offers free networking events to provide a safe and friendly space for those working within community projects to come together, network, share and compare experiences, and learn from one another. If you have anything you’d like to discuss, please let us know in advance of the session. 

Participation Guidance

These events are hosted on Zoom and are free and welcome to all – members and non-members of Befriending Networks. We ask all our attendees to come online prepared to discuss with others, listen and learn. If you have a particular question or topic you would like the group to discuss, please contact the event facilitator in advance to add it to our agenda.
