Purpose of this event

What type of support is required by the people you work with? Some organisations provide a range of models and approaches, sometimes referred to as a blended model. 

We are aware that during the Covid era there was an influx of telephone services being set up and some had to move from face to face to telephone to honour social distancing. 

In this session we will discuss with questions and answers how services transition from telephone services to face to face befriending services and how you may manage that type of change. 

This session is aimed at projects who are changing their model or delivery or setting up a face-to-face service.

What are networking events?

Befriending Networks offers free networking events to provide a safe and friendly space for those working within community projects to come together, network, share and compare experiences, and learn from one another. These are not training events but an opportunity for peer learning and building connections.

Participation Guidance

These events are hosted on Zoom and are free and welcome to all – members and non-members of Befriending Networks. We ask all our attendees to come online prepared to discuss with others, listen and learn. If you have a particular question or topic you would like the group to discuss, please contact the event facilitator in advance to add it to our agenda.
