We are aware that many projects struggle with inappropriate referrals. This can happen in many different shapes and forms. For example: not meeting criteria or withholding of information to meet eligibility. This short course is designed to provide you with support and guidance on this topic. To protect capacity and efficiency, it is important to know how to grow a strong relationship with your referrers and partnerships, whether individuals or agencies.
Any attendee will receive our resource book for reducing inappropriate referrals, a 32-page booklet on good practice, guidance and procedures for tightening criteria and saying no. All attendees are invited to submit their referral forms for free consultancy, and audited for best practices, to support attendees to reduce their inappropriate referrals.
