How much does bespoke training cost?
The cost of your bespoke training package will be calculated based on the time and resources necessary for preparation, delivery and evaluation of training. Additional costs can include travel and accommodation where necessary, however, we try to keep our prices down as much as possible and are happy to discuss options with you.

Consultancy at Befriending Networks

We’ve been providing consultancy services to organisations within the sector since 2002, offering advice and support on everything from day-to-day operations to reviewing organisational practices and planning for future development. Whether you require just a day’s input or are looking for consultancy on a project or long-term piece of work, we’re here to help.

Who can commission consultancy services?
Our consultancy services are available to any organisation that would like expert support delivered by an experienced team.
Past clients have included volunteer centres, local authorities, CVS, befriending projects, health boards, social work teams, national voluntary organisations and a range of local projects.
How does it work?
After a free initial meeting where we find out more about your project and the consultancy services you need, we’ll prepare a proposal, including an outline of the work to be undertaken, the intended outcome, and an appropriate timescale.
If you wish to proceed, the involvement and expectations of both parties will be agreed upon at the outset and set out within the Terms of Reference.
How much does it cost?
We operate our consultancy service on a competitive daily rate for short-term projects or a package rate for commissions involving longer-term work.
Who carries out the consultancy work?
You’ll receive input from different members of the Befriending Networks team depending on the nature of the consultancy project. We also call on a wider team of consultants for specialist services, such as face-to-face interviews with befrienders and befriendees or survey design and analysis.
