Get Involved in Befriending Week
This year marks the 13th Befriending Week and we are so excited to celebrate with you!
Every November, befriending services and supporters from across the UK and beyond gather to recognise befriending and the positive impact it has in our communities. There are lots of ways for you to get involved…
Join the campaign
Help us spread the word about befriending and its impact. Whether on social media, newsletters or in the press, every post and share makes a big difference!
Be sure to use our hashtags and tag us in your posts so we can see your posts.

To make it easier to take part, we’ve put together some resources, including suggested social media posts, graphics and Top Tips guides.
Hold an event
There’s nothing better than bringing people together to celebrate so why not hold an event for your staff, volunteers and service users?
Download our party pack resources – including decorations, activities and thank you certificates – to get you started.
Submit a case study
During Befriending Week, we share case studies from members that highlight the positive impact of befriending. Each case study follows an individual befriending story, celebrating the importance of meaningful connection.
Members of Befriending Networks are invited to share their befriending stories to have a chance to be featured as part of the campaign and throughout the year.
Celebrate with us
One of the highlights of Befriending Week is bringing our incredible network together to reflect on the past year and share plans for the future.
Our Annual Conference features guest speakers, networking sessions and our AGM. The 2025 Conference will take place on Wednesday 5th November.
You can find out more about the 2024 Annual Conference on our blog.
