Befriending Life Links
About Age Cymru Dyfed
Our Befriending Life Links project has been running since 2020.
The aim of the project is to support people over the age of 50 who, for whatever reason, have become socially isolated, withdrawn, have lost their confidence, or just have a low sense of wellbeing. The aim of the project is to support individuals to do the things they enjoy doing, live the life they want to live and empower them to take control of their own lives.

Service Eligibility
We support people over the age of 50 across the historic region of Dyfed in West Wales, covering the three principal local authority areas of Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire. Within these areas, we provide services in both rural and urban communities, including key towns such as Carmarthen, Aberystwyth, Haverfordwest and Llanellli, as well as surrounding villages and more isolated communities.
Information for Volunteers

As a volunteer, you will be helping older people by either supporting them one to one or at a social event to help empower them to become more confident and less isolated.
