Greatly appreciate the time and effort that must have gone into developing this training. Engaging, encouraging and very informative. I learnt a lot.

The facilitator was really friendly and welcoming and was obviously very knowledgeable about the work we were completing.

Thank you so much for the information and for being so proactive with the strategies for the online sessions. It’s honestly so nice to work with a deaf-aware organisation, it makes us feel really valued as members.

Participants who complete all seven modules of our certified Vital Skills for Staff courses will receive recognition at our AGM.

The sessions are delivered through interactive online workshops and discussion, followed by access to the appropriate Good Practice resource, some of which are exclusive to training and delegate attendees. We currently offer three types of Good Practice Training:

  • Dementia and Befriending – We welcome volunteers, staff and trustees to attend and develop their knowledge and good practice.
  • Running a Befriending Service – Perfect for those in the early stages of establishing a project, or anyone thinking of launching a befriending service.
  • Management and Leadership in Befriending Projects – Supports professional development for anyone already established in their role.
