Our Bespoke Packages
All your bespoke materials will be tailored to your needs and designed to match your organisation’s brand. Befriending Networks members receive a 25% discount on all packages – join today to take advantage of your discount and lots of other benefits!
We have three different packages to help you plan and budget for your bespoke training needs. Each package is fully customisable to your chosen training topics. You may also choose to purchase additional videos and training assets to supplement your package. As a guide, each training topic will create approximately 1 hour of training content; we are flexible to your needs.
- Our Bronze Package provides you with the content you need for your organisation to deliver training on up to 4 different topics. Purchase once and you can reuse the materials with your team as often as you like.
- Our Silver Package takes the stress out of delivering online training. Let us design and deliver the training for your team.
- Our Gold Package is our most comprehensive package. Let us design, deliver online or in person, and upskill your staff with Train the Trainers support so that you can reuse the materials with your team as often as you like.

How it works
Step 1: Arrange your free consultation
You attend a free 30-minute consultation with our Learning and Development Manager, Victoria, to discuss your organisation’s needs.
Step 2: Review your bespoke proposal
Following our discussion, we will send you a written proposal with accurate costing for your bespoke package.
Step 3: Sign the agreement
You decide to proceed with the proposal and purchase our bespoke package. You then sign your terms of service.
Step 4: Pay your invoice
We’ll send you an invoice for the agreed bespoke fee. Once payment is received, we will begin to design your package.
Step 5: Receive your bespoke materials
Your bespoke package is delivered within the agreed time frame.
Step 6: Give feedback
We’ll get in touch to check in and give you an opportunity to provide feedback on your experience.
Case study: Cross Keys Homes
Cross Key Homes (CKH) contacted Befriending Networks after a pilot befriending scheme was approved and funded for a 1-year duration. With no time to lose, their team concluded that a Befriending Networks bespoke training package would be the most efficient and effective launch to their pilot project.
CKH sought the design of training and the knowledge of good practice in befriending for their project. As facilitation was not required, CKH purchased a Silver Package.
The following topics were agreed: boundaries; confidentiality; safeguarding; challenging conversations; self-care and wellbeing; and support in the project.
Materials were delivered within four weeks. The staff at CKH were invited to a handover meeting to run through all the products and provide the opportunity to ask questions.
Included in their bespoke package:
- 2 training courses with a total of 6 hours of content, with accompanying PowerPoint presentations and facilitation notes
- Training activity handouts

Meet the Team
Victoria Galloway
Learning and Development Manager
Victoria has been working at Befriending Networks since 2018 and has grown their knowledge and understanding of befriending and community development through this time.
Previously working within primary schools, secondary education and university settings, Victoria uses her understanding of education and adult learning to create training resources that are inclusive to learning styles and targeted at reducing barriers to learning.
Having worked with those in the care system, prison system and secure units within hospitals, Victoria is competent in discussing mental health and wellbeing, trauma-informed practice and safeguarding procedures.
As a graduate of media, Victoria applies her understanding of communication to build resources that are comprehensive, efficient and engaging. As a recent graduate of MSc Social Innovation, Victoria facilitates with a passion for the power of volunteers and community-led positive change in society.
On the occasion of face-to-face training being purchased within the Gold Package, we may suggest an alternative facilitator from our staff team due to their geographical location, which could minimise travel and accommodation costs.
Book a Guest Speaker
Befriending Networks can present at your event, as a keynote or guest speaker, on a wide range of topics.
Guest speakers can be an appropriate investment if you are sourcing a one-off event, keynote speaker or a short burst of good practice guidance for your audience.
Your guest speaker commission will include:
- the design of the session and slides
- online facilitation or presentation
- the option to have the input available as a video recording
- circulation of slides for delegates
- signposting of support
- an open invitation for any attendee to get in touch with Befriending Networks for additional information or support

For in-person events, our speaking rate starts from £150 and will be subject to additional charges for travel, accommodation, and subsistence.
Case study: Mind in Harrogate District
Mind in Harrogate Befriending Service commissioned Befriending Networks to appear as a guest speaker to deliver a learning opportunity for their volunteer befrienders on managing endings. The session was co-designed with volunteers, taking on board their needs and the expertise of Befriending Networks.
Dave Rowson, Befriending Coordinator at Mind in Harrogate Befriending Service, said:
It was a very swift process, starting with an initial exploratory call and planning session to confirm the understanding of our requirements. Within one month, Victoria attended our volunteer meeting as a guest speaker and delivered the session to our volunteers online.
This was a very good method to develop our process with the input of our volunteers and also a very cost-effective way of delivering the learning as it enabled a larger group to access online and we also received a video recording of the session that new volunteers can access independently.
