Freelance Opportunities: Trainer, Videographer and Project Evaluator needed
23rd April 2026
We are looking for three freelance specialists to support our Connected Lives programme.
Connected Lives is a Scotland-wide project by Befriending Networks providing free dementia and social connection training and e-learning. It helps volunteers, staff and carers feel confident supporting people living with dementia, strengthening social connections and enabling inclusive, meaningful relationships within communities.
To deliver the project, we are seeking to appoint specialists for the following freelance positions:
- A freelance Trainer to deliver 20 in-person training sessions across Scotland between July 2026 and March 2027.
- A freelance Videographer with a strong storytelling approach to create engaging, well-produced videos featuring people in the third sector, showcasing good practice.
- An independent Project Evaluator to design and deliver a proportionate, high-quality evaluation of the Connected Lives programme.
Connected Lives is funded by the Scottish Government’s Dementia Resilient Communities Fund and supports the delivery of the national strategy Dementia in Scotland: Everyone’s Story.
