Congratulations to ALONE for achieving their reaccreditation as a Quality in Befriending Excellence Award holder!
ALONE Support and Befriending Services provide in-person 1:1 befriending and telephone befriending services across Ireland. The service supports older people who are experiencing isolation and loneliness.
Their Quality Award assessment showed a service that works hard to bring people together and make matches that benefit both befriender and service user. Their well thought out processes and culture of development mean that both staff and volunteers are enthusiastic about making improvements and growing the service. Well done to the whole team for providing fantastic befriending service!
