BeFriend in Bellshill achieves Excellence Award

We’re delighted to announce that BeFriend in Bellshill have achieved their Excellence Award!
BeFriend in Bellshill is part of Orbiston Neighbourhood Centre in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire. Their befriending service provides older adults and disabled adults with companionship, support and self-esteem.
Their assessment highlighted a strong sense of community and flexibility in how people access support. People found staff approachable and easy to reach when needed. Their case study videos and interviews showed the warmth and community feel of the service, with lots of personal touches.
