Journey Across Befriending Roadshow continues in Cardiff!

Twenty people from 12 organisations came together in a tropically hot Cardiff to connect and learn from each other, including Befriending Networks members, partners and other organisations running or interested in befriending work. Coming from as far afield as Swansea and Bristol, they shared experiences on what it takes to set up and run a befriending project, challenges with recruiting volunteers, responding to the needs of communities and how to measure success.
Fiona Douglass from Age Cymru generously co-facilitated the event, sharing about the work she does running a national telephone befriending service across Wales.
