Kent Coast Volunteering achieve Quality Award Reaccreditation

We’re delighted to announce our most recent reaccreditation for the Quality Award, Kent Coast Volunteering‘s Good Neighbour Service!
The service supports isolated older people living in Thanet, Dover, and Folkestone (Kent). Its main goal is to reduce feelings of isolation, through activities such as 1:1 in-person befriending, 1:1 telephone befriending and group befriending sessions.
The assessment confirmed that this is a necessary and well-regarded service. Service users, volunteers, and staff reported feeling well supported, and feedback shows the focus remains on people at the heart of the service.
