About Age UK Cheshire

Age UK Cheshire is the only local charity dedicated to supporting people in later life across Cheshire.  We offer a lifeline for people to access the information and support they need.  We want to make Cheshire a place where older people are not just seen, but respected and valued every day. Our Sharing Time Befriending project aims to support people experiencing loneliness and isolation, by matching with a trained volunteer befriender to develop meaningful and supportive relationships.  The service provides home visits to encourage and support access to the local community, helping  build wider social connections.   Telephone befriending to offer those who find it difficult to access community activities, regular social contact and companionship. To find out more or make a referral please contact us at sharingtime@ageukcheshire.org.uk or telephone 01606 305012.
