Age: 65+ years of age or over.
A Solihull resident currently residing in Solihull.
Be able to fully participate in the planning process and
An individual who is socially isolated and/or lonely, or at risk of loneliness
Individuals must be committed to developing a co-produced plan to ensure the right pathway of support is progressed for them.
Individuals need to be self-caring and undertake their own personal care needs.
While we aim to support as wide a range of people as possible, there are some situations where the service may not be the most suitable option for an individual. Our short‑term, community‑based support is not designed for individuals with complex mental health needs, addiction, or those living with advanced dementia or significant cognitive decline, where more specialist or clinical services would be more appropriate

Volunteers are important members of Age UK Solihull. We don’t have a typical volunteer, they come from all walks of life and are all ages. You may want to make a difference to an older person’s life, develop new skills or simply want to meet new people. We ask that you are dependable, reliable and able to maintain clear boundaries.
