Information for Volunteers

In a changing world, where we don’t know our neighbours, our skilled, compassionate and dedicated team make sure that everyone has someone to call a friend.  We are always keen to recruit people who are good communicators, who are kind and respectful of others, and who want to make a positive difference to the life of someone else.

Being a befriending volunteer will take about an hour of your time once a week, and our great team of coordinators will provide training and support to you when you need it.  If you have less time to offer, we are keen to recruit volunteers to help us with our fundraising activities, administration, social media and website management too.

We are a Carer Positive Organisation, and hold a Quality in Befriending Excellence Award.
