Bright Hope
About Bright Hope
Our Befriending Service offers supportive, reliable relationships through volunteer befrienders for those who would otherwise be socially isolated. You will be matched with a volunteer to develop a friendship based on similar interests. All relationships are over the phone or by email, whichever you prefer at a time that is convenient for both you and the befriender. You will be contacted regularly by the Befriending Lead to make sure that you are happy with the service.

Befriending can offer companionship, emotional support, and a listening ear, it can also support, through encouragement, any interest and hobbies. All that we ask is that you give up between 30 minutes to an hour every week to spend time with your befriendee offering a listening ear and friendship.
