About Bright Hope
Befriending at Bright Hope is a service available for anyone aged 18 years and over who is registered to a North West Leicestershire GP surgery, who has a condition that leads to a reduction in their quality of life. Or have been diagnosed with a life limiting illness. Carers are also welcome to use this service.
Our befriending service offers supportive, reliable relationships through volunteer befrienders, for those who would otherwise be socially isolated. You will be matched with a volunteer to develop a friendship based on similar interests.

Referrals can be via your GP surgery or self refer via our website.
Information for Volunteers
We are looking for volunteers (must be aged 18 years and over) to join our befriending team. You must be friendly with excellent communication and listening skills, with 30 minutes a week free to commit to Befriending.
