BrightLifeAbout BrightLife/Age Concern Chesterfield and District
BrightLife/Age Concern Chesterfield and District has run a Telephone Befriending Support Service for many years. The Telephone Befriending Support Service is supported by our dedicated team of trained volunteers who are supervised by one of the charity’s Trustees. BrightLife delivers Telephone Befriending 4 days a week from BrightLife’s office in the centre of Chesterfield. Our befrienders work on the same day each week so that they can telephone the same people each week. This gives the befrienders and the beneficiaries the opportunity to get to know each other. Brightlife telephones older people in Chesterfield, Bolsover and North East Derbyshire.
