We support unpaid carers over the age of 16 who live in Leeds. We match volunteer befrienders with the carer, either by phone or in person across the City offering emotional support, building social networks in the local community, helping to reduce loneliness and isolation. We have trained bereavement befrienders who can offer emotional support to bereaved carers.

Service Eligibility
Unpaid carers can access this service if they live in Leeds and are aged over 18, referrals can made via our website for professionals or contacting our Advice Team on 0113 3804300.
Information for Volunteers
Our befrienders have a match once per fortnight and usually have 2 matches. When we are recruiting for befrienders, the vacancies will be on our website.
