About Carers Support Service

At times we feel vulnerable, perhaps following some bad news, and feel the need for some informal support from someone who understands, the befriending service could fufill this need.
The befriending service is free and confidential.  Available for unpaid carers living in North and North East Lincolnshire.  Also, people living with dementia in North Lincolnshire.

England, DN31 1HY

Service Eligibility

We support unpaid carers across both North and North East Lincolnshire.  In North Lincolnshire, we also offer befriending to people living with dementia.

Information for Volunteers

We provide training, ongoing supervision and regular support for volunteers.  Travel and parking costs are reimbursed.  All volunteers must have a DBS check and provide two references.  The induction training is mandatory, to ensure you are fully ready to volunteer for us.

A dedicated Volunteer Coordinator, will support you through the application process, induction and training.  We host an annual volunteer celebration and provide ongoing support.  You can volunteer for as little as one hour a week.
