About CLASP
Clasp has been established as a community support project for over 20 years now. We deliver various projects including:
1) HOPE in the community project for over 50’s- one to one & telephone befriending, social outings, weekly lunch clubs, health and fitness classes, social activities and information and advice.
2) Digital Project to support older people in the use of smart technology, tablets and laptops and to get online.
3) Community Hub providing information and advice, clerical support services, desk top publishing, referral and signposting service for those with complex issues.

Service Eligibility
Anyone over 50 years old and living in North Ayrshire and Arran who is suffering from isolation and loneliness and feels a befriender may help them or is in need of digital help in todays modern world.
Information for Volunteers
We have a number of volunteering opportunities including, one to one and telephone befriending, assisting at weekly lunch clubs, volunteer digital buddies, and administration. We are also in need of website designers and volunteers who may wish to join our board of directors.
