Phone a FriendAbout Gordon Rural Action
Our service provides a number of options to isolated, emotionally distressed or lonely people looking for a friendly chat, support, encouragement and companionship. We can offer a companion to go shopping, for a cuppa, for a walk, accompany you to appointments, event and support group, or just be there for a weekly chat. If you don’t want to meet up in person, we can also offer a friendly listening ear by phone. Alternatively you can pop into our Advice & Support Hub for access to computers to keep in touch with family and friends.
