About Hand of Solace
Hand of Solace befriending service is aimed at supporting: Isolated young people (5-16 years) and Isolated older people (60 and above) in Aberdeen taking into consideration individual challenges such as, language barriers for those from minority ethnic group, mental and physical health issues and past difficult experiences.
A befriender will be allocated to help our beneficiaries to access and also support them to attend local activities, to become confident, independent and to promote good health and well-being.

who lives in Aberdeen.

Information for Volunteers
We are very happy to welcome volunteers (befrienders). If you have couple of hours to spare at least every fortnight, we will be happy to have you volunteer with us. You can apply through our website or contact us for Volunteers Application Form.
