Home Link Family Support
About Home Link Family Support
Volunteer to support families with pre-school children, at home, and provide practical and emotional support, we actively encourage family learning, so all children in their early years have the best start. We work with Volunteers in Edinburgh . Families want help to get out and about; need an extra pair of hands to help with a new baby plus their toddlers; or are facing stressful issues and need someone neutral to talk it through with. By being a good listener, a volunteer can gently build up parents’ skills and self-esteem. Volunteers also help families to get engaged with early learning, so every visit will involve some reading or playing with the children.
