Jewish Care Befriending ServiceAbout Jewish Care
Our warm, friendly team of befrienders is there for anyone who is isolated or lonely. Living alone doesn’t mean living lonely. Jewish Care befrienders will keep in touch via a phone or video call or visit in person where desired and possible.

Service Eligibility
Any adult who identifies as a Jewish person can self-refer.

Information for Volunteers
We are looking for people willing to provide a professional friendship by visiting or calling members of the Jewish Community once a week for 30 minutes minimum. During those visits, you will be contributing to giving someone a purpose in their day and something to look forward. Share your interests, hobbies or history, and learn something new. Jewish Care will provide full training.
