Information for Volunteers

LEAP’s volunteering opportunities include:

One-to-one befriending, matching volunteer befrienders with clients in South Lanarkshire aged 50 and over on a regular basis in their homes to offer companionship and chat, helping combat isolation and loneliness.

Telephone befriending, offering weekly calls from a volunteer and our group befriending offers opportunities for volunteers to actively lead the groups.

Dementia services, including lunch clubs that meet every two weeks and which offer a range of support and activities for both people living with dementia and their cares.

A handyperson service, offering volunteers opportunities to do small jobs for people who can no longer do so themselves.
