About Linking Lives Eastbourne
Linking Lives Eastbourne is a befriending scheme for people over the age of 65 who are living alone, connecting them with volunteers who offer friendship through visiting, telephone chats or going to community activities, with the aim of reducing loneliness and improving quality of life.

Information for Volunteers
Linking Lives Eastbourne is a befriending scheme, training and connecting volunteers from local churches with adults over the age of 65 who live alone, in the Eastbourne area, and are experiencing loneliness or loss of connection. Our volunteers follow a safe recruitment process and all have an enhanced DBS in place. Options are face to face befriending visits at home, telephone befriending, or meetups and outings. Volunteers will usually stay matched to the same Link friend.
