About Mencap Visiting Service
At Royal Mencap Society everything we do is about valuing and supporting people with a learning disability, and their families and carers. Our vision is for people with a learning disability in the UK to live happy and healthy lives. There are various befriending schemes for people with a learning disability at Mencap to help reduce social isolation and loneliness. We are passionate about the difference volunteers can make to the lives of people with a learning disability. We want our volunteers to have a fulfilling and enriching experience as well as a sense of fun whilst sharing their time with Mencap and the people we support.
