Omega Ending Isolation, Ending Loneliness, a charity dedicated to reducing social isolation and loneliness for all adults. We offer Chatterbox, a free telephone befriending service and Letterbox, a free pen-pal befriending service amongst other provisions.

Information for Volunteers
Join our very capable volunteers who give their time, skills and passion to keep people connected and living well in later life. Volunteering gives you the satisfaction of knowing that you are making a difference. As well as helping people, volunteering has been shown to improve the wellbeing of volunteers too, and it’s a great way to gain new skills and experience, meet people and make new friends. Our volunteers are from all walks of life and are aged from 19 years to 106. We couldn’t have such a positive impact on older people’s lives without them. We offer a range of volunteering opportunities for you to choose from. No matter how much time you have to give or where you are based, there will be something that will suit you.
