About Sutherland Care Forum
Through this free, confidential befriending service we aim to assist adults over the age of 65 isolated by disability or health issues feel part of the community. Contact with a volunteer Befriender can make all the difference to a client who may feel lonely assisting them with social contact, shopping, transport and company to appointments etc. Much valued respite may also be provided to unpaid carers. Through a contract with Highland Hospice we support people with a palliative care diagnosis and offer a No One Dies Alone (NODA) service in hospital or a Care Home setting.
