The Civil Service Retirement Fellowship
About The Civil Service Retirement Fellowship
As a national charity supporting former civil servants and their dependants we provide friendship companionship via three national befriending schemes that offer services by phone, home visit or by letter. A simple registration process will enable our beneficiaries to apply to be matched with a volunteer befriender and help improve their health, wellbeing and social interaction.
Service Eligibility
We accept referrals from anyone acting on behalf of former civil servants (our beneficiaries) – these would need to be discussed before acceptance.
Information for Volunteers
We run three national befriending schemes for the benefit of former civil servants and dependants. All volunteers are DBS Checked trained before being matched with a beneficiary to provide a friendship only phone call, home visit or pen pal service.
